Surprise Win from an Instant Win Sweepstakes

By August 17, 2007

Follow me on:

I've been entering the Transitions - Spin and Win Instant Win Sweepstakes every day for quite some time now, and I've gotten the Sorry message every time. It gets frustrating after a while, especially since this is a 24-hour sweepstakes which means that I can't enter it a bit earlier on some days and a bit later than others. Each entry has to be made exactly 24 hours after the last one, if not later.

However, I kept plugging away at it, and today I received a surprise check for $25 in the mail. Yippee!

The thing is that this prize promotion has not only an instant win portion, but also a regular sweepstakes portion. That means that every entry into the instant win is also an entry into a regular drawing. And this particular sweepstake is giving away a ton of prizes in its regular drawings! 1,600 cash prizes, to be exact, divided up into monthly drawings.

This is a really good reminder that we shouldn't give up on winning too quickly. A lot of instant win sweepstakes have regular drawings as well, at least for a few grand prizes, so even if the "Sorry" message comes up every time you enter you could still be a big winner. So even when it seems like you'll never win, keep trying - you never know when a great surprise might show up at your door.

To see the people who have already won prizes in the Transitions - Spin and Win Sweepstakes, check out the Transitions.com - 2007 Winners List. Who knows, if you've been entering, there may be a check already on its way to you! If not, now's a great time to start.

I’m so happy for you. I just got a prize in the mail too. It’s not as great as yours, but it’s practical. I got a coupon for a bottle of advil.

Woohoo, that is a great win! There have been many times in my life where having a bottle of Advil would have been much preferable to having a $25 check! :D

The game no longer accepts me playing, although I’ve allowed it through adjusting my cookies.

Hi, Lew,

Are you waiting a full 24 hours before attempting to enter again?

If so, they have a contact form where you can notify them that you’re having trouble entering. You can find it here: http://us.transitions.com/tools/contact.htm

Good luck!
