More than 100 Entries - Finally a Win

One of my relatives was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and I also have it myself. So when I saw an instant win sweepstakes that was giving away quite a few diabetic cookbooks, I thought that might be a helpful prize for both myself and my relative and added it to my daily sweepstakes. Well, after entering it more than 100 times, I finally received a winning message! More than three months of daily entries finally paid off, and I'll be receiving the book in the mail in about eight weeks.

Although this was a small and kind of silly prize, it was something I really wanted to win. But it also illustrates how much patience and persistence you need to win sweepstakes. Sure, I could have gotten lucky and won with my first entry, but since I'm not that lucky, I had to substitute hard work instead.
