Live Like Royalty with Showtime and The Tudors

I've read many historical fiction novels, and the one thing I've learned above all else from them is that there's no way on earth I'd want to be the King of England. For some bizarre reason, everyone seemed to want to be King, but the end result seemed to always involve treachery, heartbreak, despair, losing all your loved ones, going mad, and meeting a nasty end, one way or another. No thanks.

I would, however, cheerfully volunteer to let Showtime and The Tudors pick me for their King Me Sweepstakes. The grand prize winner will receive $50,000 cash, which would be enough for me to live like royalty for a good long while. Furthermore, a good king always shows largess to the people, and Showtime and The Tudors will help the winner do that as well, with a $25,000 donation to a charity that the winner selects from a list of approved sources. And no king can be crowned without a progress, so the winner will have his pick of dream vacations at a Starwood Hotel, including airfare to the location. And finally, common peasants cannot possibly become king, so the winner will receive an honest-to-goodness royal title from England. The total prize package is valued at $80,000

Eight weekly winners will also receive a royal prize pack including the chance to be pampered at a spa, jewelry fit for a queen (at least, a queen that still has a head on her neck), and items from the series, The Tudors.

To enter, you must be a U.S. resident aged 21 or above. You can enter once a week until the sweepstakes end date of May 23, 2008.
