Stephanie Dee of Solon, Iowa is the winner of the HGTV 2008 Dream Home, worth over $2 million! She was announced as the winner on live television, with her friends and family gathered around her. Stephanie thought that she was going to an early birthday party, and she seemed to be in a bit of shock when she was told that she won. Christy Matte, our Guide to Family Computing, said, "Through the whole interview, she's shed a tear or two, but she hasn't shown any real excitement." Stephanie Dee wasn't the only winner to be announced in the Dream Home Special. Adda of West Palm Beach, FL won the trip to Florida, $5,000 in flooring, and the Doggie Dream Home as the at-home winner announced during the special.
