The Barham's design showed a picture of the Earth surrounded by the words, "Last one in stock." Below it, was the phrase, "As is, no returns." Purex felt that the winning design "conveys the need to be friendly to the environment and choosing a natural laundry detergent is one of the first steps in making a positive change."
The prize was presented by Emmy Award-winning actress, Jaime Pressly, who plays the delightfully nasty ex-wife of Earl in one of my favorite television series, My Name is Earl. Pressly, along with other celebrities like Christie Brinkley, Bette Midler, Martha Stewart, Andre Agassi, and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., also joined in Purex's campaign to raise awareness of environmental issues by designing and auctioning off t-shirts. The campaign raised $30,000 for the Earth Day Network.

Wow, while I’m jealous of the winners, I have to admit that the t-shirt idea was really a clever one. I wonder what the runner-ups came up with?
I agree! I thought my shirt was pretty good, until I saw some of the competitors!
You can actually see the Purex Finalists on the website. I think my favorite is the one that says “Give our Earth a green light.” It’s so pretty!
