Have You Won Using Roboform?

Thursday December 4, 2008
Roboform is a program that can save sweepers a lot of typing (and the potential health problems, like carpal tunnel syndrome, that come with too much typing).
Some people swear by the program, but others fear that it could disqualify them from winning. I've written an article on this topic: Will I Be Disqualified for Using Roboform?, but now I'm asking for your experience. Have you won any sweepstakes prizes using Roboform or a similar auto-fill program? Click on the poll to let me know.

If you have decided either to use Roboform or to skip it altogether, I'd love to hear from you, too. Visit the Do You Use Roboform to Enter Sweepstakes? page and "Share Your Opinion" at the bottom of the page. I'd love to hear your perspective about auto-fill programs!

I just recently downloaded the roboform, I don’t see how it matters which way you enter, the info is still the same.

I guess I go to the other extreme – I enter VERY few sweeps that don’t accomodate roboform. I enter (usually) 80 to 100 daily sweeps and uncountable single-entry sweeps, both for my wife and I. Without roboform, this would be an impossibility.
Thanks for your excellent newsletter, Sandra.

I have been using Roboform for about a year and have yet to win any contests.
I do not think it is because of Roboform,I think it is just my normal luck, which is usualy either bad or none,
I’ll keep trying though.

Thanks for the compliment, Bill! I feel the same way about Roboform. I don’t think I’d win half the prizes I do without it.

I actually love the RoboForm software myself. I use it all of the time and it takes all of the menial everyday tasks that I have to perform on my computer daily and shortens them extremely! What once took me fifteen minutes to complete now takes me only one second because RoboForm does the same task with just one click. In fact I wrote a Report about a lot of RoboForm’s capabilities for use that aren’t even touched on in the User’s Manual for RoboForm. You can get that Report here:

There is also a FREE version of RoboForm that you can download on this web page, just to test the RoboForm software out for yourself! I highly recommend it!

I use Roboform Pro daily. It saves me so much time! I can’t say it has helped me win, except that it has allowed me to enter more sweeps in a shorter period of time. I have only been disqualified once because of it; on a TGI Friday’s sweeps. They didn’t specify, but just said something about an “Illegal entry”. I went back & entered it manually, and it was accepted. Just another word of thanks, Sandra, for all your work in bringing sweepstakes to our attention, and all the great hints & suggestions!

I use Roboform for almost all sweeps I enter – the only time I don’t is if it is Flash (I need to try Texter!) or if I happen to notice they want it manually keyed. I’ve managed to enter almost 20,000 sweeps in the past (3 or so) years because of it.

I have won plenty of prizes over the years. I don’t know if I’ve ever been disqualified for using it…but it has been worth it.

I also use it for other tasks than sweeps. I love Roboform!
