What to Do About Flash Sweepstakes When You Can't Install Flash

Thursday December 4, 2008
Flash Sweepstakes are becoming more popular, because they give sponsors a way to add more interactivity, like games, music, and animation, without difficulty for users on most computers.

If you are using your own computer at home to enter sweepstakes, you should be able to run Flash Sweepstakes without trouble. If you are having difficulty entering Flash Sweepstakes, you might want to look at my article, How to Troubleshoot Flash Sweepstakes.

There are some situations, however, where you don't have the access rights to install or update Flash. For example, maybe you're entering sweepstakes from a computer at a public library, which doesn't already have Flash and which doesn't allow you to install any programs. Do you have to give up on entering Flash Sweepstakes?

Not at all. I've come up with three ways to get around the problem in my article, How to Enter Flash Sweepstakes Without Installing Flash.

If you have any ideas for additional Flash work-arounds, tell us about them by clicking on the "Comments" button below.
