Overstock Continues their Family Bailout Contest with a $10,000 Prize for January

If you missed winning the last time (read who the $50,000 Overstock Bailout Winner was), you have another chance to win debt relief for your family in Overstock's January Family Bailout Contest.

The grand prize winner will receive $10,000 cash, paid directly to a major creditor, such as a mortgage lender, car loan company, credit card company, etc. The money can be put toward more than one debt belonging to the winner or members of the winner's immediate family.

At the end of the competition, ten names will be drawn at random to become finalists. Overstock representatives will interview each of the ten finalists, and the one who is judged most in need of the bailout will receive the prize.

The good news is that January's contest won't be your only chance to win, either. In a Overstock press release, the company announced that it will hold a new $10,000 contest every month through the end of 2009.

Entry is open to US residents aged 18 and above. Alternate entry is available by making purchases on the Overstock.com website. Enter daily through January 31, 2009.
