"Bid" for the Prizes You Want to Win from Wendy's

Wendy's Bid for Value Sweepstakes gives you an unusual way to play for prizes.

Every day, Wendy's will announce a time when an "auction" for a prize will begin. The bid starts high, and every time someone enters, the bid is lowered by either one dollar or one cent. You keep entering until either you hit a "bid" of $0.99 cents and win the prize, or someone else does so.

Note that you're not actually bidding any money -- this is basically an instant sweepstakes where you scramble to be the one entrant who hits the precise winning time.

Only a couple of prizes are left right now, but they're good ones. Today at 2 PM, Wendy's will be giving away $10,000 cash, and tomorrow at the same time, the prize will be a Hyundai 2008 Santa Fe SE SUV!

Entry is open to US residents aged 18 and above. You can enter as often as you like during the bidding period (and be sure to start entering right on time -- these prizes go quick!). The sweepstakes ends on January 14, 2009.
