It's the start of a new month, and that means that it's time to share what you won in July of 2009. Sharing your wins is a great way to motivate us all to hang in there, even when it seems like a long time since your last win. Plus, it feels great to relive those wins, and to be congratulated by the rest of the About.com Contests community. July wasn't a huge month for me, but it was infinitely better than June, when I won nothing at all! Among the prizes I won last month was a NASCAR gift certificate that I used to buy a great-looking shirt, free movie tickets from Coke, music downloads, and a month's worth of Zagat on the Go, which is a great way to find new restaurants to try (something which I love to do).
If you feel like your wins were slow last month, don't give up yet. A lot of sponsors will start drawing their winners for the sweepstakes that ended in July in the days ahead. You could still have a winning notice on its way to you!

I won two tickets to see an advanced screening for the movie Funny People through a local paper. And a $20 gift card from the Radio Shack instant win game. Oh…and of course the free chocolate from Mars candy for Free Chocolate Fridays!

I scored my first sweepstake ever. I won in an instant win contest with Pace. The win was for product of Pace. It was a real pick me up to get my first in a sweepstake…let alone an instant win. So to everyone else out there, be ye encouraged and motivated and don’t let anything or anyone hold you back or prohibit you from expecting good things and great things from coming to past for you. Let’s see, I received the two movie passes I’d won in June, a reusable cloth shopping bag (I really like those, have lots of them and hardly ever use the plastic bag from the store.) two water bottles and a t’shirt from the Trek WOW Tour De France contest.

My biggest win for July was a $200 gas card for a winning caption in a contest. I’ve sent off the affidavit and am waiting for my card. Very exciting!

Won a $15 Amazon.com gift card from Take a Spin through MONOPOLY Town (LOVE those instant wins!!) Especially this one because it had the “womp-womp” song if you didn’t win but if you won you got cheering,confetti,ribbons…the works!:-)

Well I must say that this was the slowest month for me; I won 2 movie tickets from the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra Sweepstakes and then checked Woman’s Day web site and found that the daughter won a prize from April. They sent half the order and still waiting on the rest. Oh BTW they don’t email you if you win from what I have been reading, you have to check their winners list each month. Other than trying to get email addresses for two winnings that I had in February and May to check on the status of the gift cards that was it for my wins.

Won my last coupon from the Pace game and several free chocolate coupons from Mars Company. Won a free Dole product coupon from the Salads at Home sweepstakes. Received my $20 Coke cash card from last month. $5.00 was added to it but I don’t know why. Nothing big but I loved everything I won this month.
I’m new at this sweepstakes stuff. But a couple months ago, I decided to start entering contests. I saw a very extensive list of current contests here on about.com, and I entered many one time only entry contests, and on the ones that you can enter daily, I saved them to my favorites on my computer and did just that. Then, last Monday, I found out that I won the Hubba Bubba Monsterrific Sweepstakes!! Its 5 round trip tickets to San Francisco, 2 nights hotel accomadations, limousine transportation to and from the airport and hotel, sightseeing activities, 5 pairs of Heely’s skates and protective gear, spending money, and even money for the taxes!!! We are so excited and can’t wait to go!!! And then, today, after 2 months of playing the Zagat 30th anniversary sweepstakes, I won an instant win of the Zagat Guide to restaurants!
Another slow month. I won a Subway $5 gift card, 2 Trek water bottles and a bottle of Jello’s red nail polish. I’m hoping for more prizes after the July 31st draw … but if not, maybe in August.

This is my very first wn but I appreciate it.

Hi all: I had three small wins for July but better than nothing! I won a Zagat 30 day online membership, a $25 Amazon gift certificate from Get Away.com, and $25 for my Charity, The Spinal Cord Society, that I won through Capital One’s website contest.
July started out slowly but ended pretty well. Won $25 Gas Card from Huggies, $24 in movie cash (Huggies), pair of Fandango tickets from Norton’s G.I. Joe, pair of movie tix from coke and a Coleman party grill from Kraft S’mores.
I am new to entering sweepstakes and even though I only won a $5.00 subway gift card, two movie tickets on coke’s instant win game (that I can’t collect cause I get a message that says doesn’t recognize my code) and an ashtray (I quit smoking a long time ago, I am hooked! But I did recieve good news from ny June win from Conagra Smart Solutions contest. They offered me a $5,000 cash alternative. I was burning rubber getting to my bank to have the papers notorized and mailed. According to the rules I should be recieving it in the next few weeks. I can’t wait, I sooo much needed this. I’m glad I’m not losing my mind!! I charged $25 worth of gas on my Coke card today (my one win for the month), momentarily thinking that was how much I had won. But after getting in the car, I could have sworn that it was only $20. When I got home, I re-read the rules and saw it was indeed only $20. I spent all evening wondering how the charge went through. Had I not read this, it would have remained a mystery forever! More bizarre, had I not remembered it wrong in that one moment, I certainly would have only filled up $20 and thrown the card away. It is as if there was some angel whispering in my ear telling me I had an extra $5.
