How would you like to win a $60,000 a year salary without having to deal with an annoying boss, nosy co-workers, or a lousy corporate culture? And how would you like to receive that salary for the rest of your life, come boom or recession? Well, that's exactly the prize that the winner of Goya's Bye Bye Bills! Sweepstakes will receive.

The grand-prize winner will receive his or her choice of $5,000 a month for life, or a lump-sum payment of $1,300,000.

Plus, 150 instant winners will receive $10 or $1,000 cash.

Entry into the Bye Bye Bills game is open to US residents aged 18 and above. Enter daily through February 15, 2010.

Me too…August is AWOL! My guess is that this is the one month that there are only 15 labels in order for there to be only 15 winners….My 9 y.o. tells me to be optimistic so I will persevere…if nothing else, at least I have been eating an enormous amount of healthy beans for many months!

WARNING!!! All so-called sweepstakes and lotteries are just gimmicks to entice people to buy unwanted products. It’s just a scam which reults in a surprise rather than a prize. Use common sense. No company could afford or want to give away free money. Even if you win (very low probability) the company would have a clause, excuse or loophole (hidden in the fine print of their advertisement) to deprive you of your win. That’s right – you win zero or a cheap useless prize. I’ve worked with helping people overcome scams and ripoffs for over 20 years.

Nathan – that’s utterly untrue. I have won money and many other prizes, and received the prizes without any attempt to defraud me. The money for the prizes comes out of companies’ advertising budgets. See the Warning Signs of Sweepstakes Scams to learn how to tell the difference between a legitimate win and a scam.

Good for you Sandra. You’re one of the lucky ones. At least 90% or more that I’ve encountered turned out to be phoney.

Nathan, every month I do a round-up of people who have won prizes in the month before. A lot of my readers report winning great prizes. I’ve also spoken personally with real people who have won some of the huge prizes out there, like a million dollars from PCH or the HGTV Dream Home. Yes, there are a lot of scams out there, but they are pretty easy to recognize once you learn the signs. And many legitimate companies offer sweepstakes with prizes ranging from fun and useful to completely life-changing that are legitimate and winnable. You might want to familiarize yourself with the signs of scams, and then give legitimate sweepstakes a try. (Stay away from lotteries, though; if they are not offered by the government, they are not legit).
