There are two parts of this giveaway, a contest and a sweepstakes. The contest is open to people who have stayed at a Leading Hotels of the World hotel within the past two years. The sweepstakes is open to people who haven't.
To enter the contest, submit an essay of 150 words or less describing how your stay at a LHW property helped you fulfill a quest, along with a photo. The sweepstakes prize is a random drawing.
The contest winner will receive a $28,000 vacation package including a stay at any of the Leading Hotels of the World properties, including business-class airfare, 7-night hotel stay, a $5,000 Bloomingdale's gift card, and a 3-piece Tumi luggage set.
One runner-up in the contest will receive a $1,000 Leading Hotels of the World gift card, while a second-prize winner will receive a $500 Leading Hotels of the World gift card.
The sweepstakes grand-prize winner will receive a vacation for two at the all-inclusive Gran Velas, Riviera Maya resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Entry into the Quest of a Lifetime Contest and Sweepstakes is open to residents of the US and Canada (void in Quebec) aged 18 and above. Enter daily through November 20, 2009.
