To enter, submit a statement of 50 words or less describing why you would be the most effective Discoveries Pathfinder. You also need to become a fan of Firestone Vineyard on Facebook.
The grand-prize winner will receive a one-month independent contractor position as "Firestone Discoveries Pathfinder" to blog a trip on the Inca Trail. The prize includes $1,000 cash and all expenses on the trip to Peru including airfare, lodging, camping equipment, trail passes, and most meals. The winner will also receive various recipes and an assortment of Firestone Discoveries wines to be used in creating unique food and wine pairings.
Note that the Inca Trail is a physically challenging hike, so consider that when you're deciding whether to enter this contest. You can read more about the Inca Trail to get an idea of what it's like.
Entry into the Hike the Inca Trail Contest is open to US residents aged 21 and above. Enter once before December 13, 2009.
