About.com's Readers' Choice Awards have come to a close. Thousands of votes were received on dozens of different topics, and the results are now in. Here on About.com Contests, we had two categories up for consideration. Here are the results:

Best Form-Filling Programs

If you enter a lot of sweepstakes, you know that typing in endless entry forms by hand is a drag. Not only is it boring, but it is a strain on sore hands and wrists, and it is all too easy to make a typo that could disqualify you. To combat these problems, many sweepers use auto-fill programs to help them enter information quickly and accurately.

There are a lot of options for form-filling programs out there, and readers nominated their favorites. The race came down to five top candidates. The final results put Roboform at the head of the pack. Roboform has been a favorite for as long as I have been entering sweepstakes, and a lot of other readers enjoy it as well. Here was the final ranking:

  1. Roboform
  2. Browser Auto-Fill
  3. Google Toolbar
  4. Keyboard Express
  5. Sxipper Firefox Add-On
For more information about each of these form-filling options, along with an analysis of the costs, advantages, and disadvantages of each, see Top 5 Form-Filling Programs.

Congratulations to the winners!

I used to LOVE Roboform–recommended it to friends countless times. However, not anymore. Not only was version 7 loaded with useless features, they now want you to pay them every month for them!

I tried to revert back to version 6, but Roboform no longer works. I paid more for Roboform than any other software I own and it is now USELESS.

Run! Run far away from Roboform! They took a perfectly wonderful product and RUINED it. It’s really sad.

I don’t know who wrote that comment but they did not use version 7. It’s a yearly fee not monthly, the new features are really nice, version 6 does work still (my husband uses it still).

Great form filler.
