Well I agree with Dee. I do the same thing. And I have already won Redbox movie rental and the $50 twce. I also won the $20 Spawish certificate online and lots of coke rewards. All i did was go to Mcdonalds for every meal basically give the food to someone who wants it and ask around for people who don’t want to play. Nobody who claims here to have Boardwalk actually does. There is only one Boardwalk piece out of 600 million total game pieces printed; however, there are millions of people who make false statements on the internet. It is enormously more likely that it is just a lie. It is so absurd that it isn’t worth considering.

Many of the pieces are being stolen (as usual) by McCrooks at the restaurants and then sold on ebay.
Mcdonalds has not put out the rare pieces out yet. They don’t start circulating until the 2nd week of October. These people are just wanting to get stuff started. Once the rare pieces makes a round, the contest is usually over in a very short amount of time. So just focus on the non rare pieces for now and enjoy the free food ones and the coke rewards. Once the rare pieces are out, no more of the non rare pieces will be made. Happy collecting to all.

I actually got to watch someone peel off the Boardwalk piece back in 1998. I was a little frustrated, seeings how this person was just a few people in front of me at the local Mc D. Just so you know how it worked back then, he peeled off both Park Place and Boardwalk in at the same time. My guess is that this is still how it would work.

The lucky few who have a rare piece can simply go to McD and buy 30 empty cups for $30 and pull off all the game pieces and easily get the common piece that they need.

That means that it’s set into an annuity. And if you cash that annuity early, you pay many penalties, so best case scenario, you hire lawyers, and pay for penalties…then “split” whats left. First of all Park Place is very common. Second of all, for those of you asking others to split the money……you do realize that the Grand Prize is paid out in yearly installments over like 20 years right? They do not pay it all out at once. It is like 50K a year.
First of all, ParkPlace is very common. Boardwalk is the rare piece. Secondly, you all do realize that the grand prize IS NOT a one time payout? You cannot split it 500k and 500k. It is paid out in 50K installments one time per year for 20 years.

Tax Question… if you found Boardwalk and sold it on eBay for 800K, would you have to pay taxes on the million? Technically, you found a piece and sold it, so you never really won the million dollars and shouldn’t have to pay the higher tax on that. But you may have to pay the income tax on the sale. At least that is what I am thinking.

Getting a non-rare piece is as simple as visiting your local McDonalds and buying a few large fries. You’ll have a full board, minus rare pieces, in a few minutes.

I rarely pay attention to which pieces are consdered rare I figured that both Boardwalk and Park Place would be rare but it appears that Park place is more common than I thought. Wish I would have noticed that earlier I actually have a Boardwalk.
McDonald’s has apparently made a big mistake in replicating the Boardwalk piece since there should only be one piece created. Based on all the people here who have a Boardwalk piece, and I know none of you would lie about it, somebody will be fired.
Oh, and I actually, truly, bet-your-life-on-it, do have the Boardwalk piece. But, alas, I have no Park Place. I am willing to split 20-80 with anybody with a Park Place. ;-P
