Scotch's, the maker of the invisible tape used by gift wrappers everywhere, is pitting gift wrappers against each other for a $10,000 prize in their Most Gifted Wrapper Contest 2012.
To enter, nominate yourself or someone else with an essay describing why that person deserves to be nominated as America's most gifted wrapper. Scotch will choose eight entrants to fly to New York City for a wrap-off. You can see scenes from a previous year's contest courtesy of YouTube.
A panel of judges will pick the grand-prize winner to receive the $10,000 grand prize. The rest of the finalists will receive cash prizes ranging from $2,500 cash to $250 cash. If the grand-prize winner was nominated by someone other than him- or herself, the nominator will also receive $500.
Entry is open to residents of the contiguous US aged 21 and above. Enter once before September 23, 2012.
