Do You Care for a Senior Citizen? You Could Win a Cruise from This Contest

If you are a primary caregiver for a senior citizen, chances are that you could really use a break. But how can you go on vacation when someone is depending on your help? You could find the answer in Home Instead Senior Care's 2012 Caregiver Cruise Getaway Contest.

To enter, write an essay describing how you care for a senior citizen, or nominate someone else who does.

The grand-prize winner will receive a cruise for themselves, plus 40 hours of in-home caregiving services to care for your charge while you're away. The prize is worth $4,000.

In addition, the person who nominates the winner will receive a Kindle Fire and a hand-held video recorder. If the winner nominated him- or herself, they'll also win the nominator prize.

Entry into Home Instead Senior Care's 2012 Caregiver Cruise Getaway Contest is open to residents of the US and Canada (void in Quebec) who are providing nonprofessional caregiving services to a senior adult, and who are above the age of majority themselves. Enter once before September 15, 2012.
