Hi, everyone. A new month is here, which means it's time to look back over the previous month to tally up our wins and share the good news! For me, September started off well with several instant wins. Among them were a signed Olympic cap, LiveNation Concert Cash, My Coke Rewards points, and some other small wins.
But then I had an internet problem (frustrating) and an out-of-town guest (wonderful), and between the two, my sweepstakes entries dried up (and the wins along with them). Here's hoping for some win notifications in October for the sweepstakes I entered in September!

Nothing won In Sept but going to keep trying. Enter about 30 contests daily. Mostly trying for the prizes such as a computer,cash of at least a couple thousand,cars, trucks, and a few vacations. Maybe, I will get real lucky today and hear I won the last Mustang in the Murphy contest!!
Only had one win this month. An iPad from a local car dealership!!
I have been sweeping about 6 or 7 weeks, so I am not sure if this is a good month or not, especially since I didn’t win anything in August. I suppose I am sort of surprised by those who say they never win after years. I can’t say that I won enough to say that it was totally worth my time to enter, but I did win. I entered for prizes I wanted to win. Still hoping for a big win but it sure was exciting to get those “winner” emails.
Thanks for this great website. It was very informative in helping me to become more efficient and to understand how sweeps work.

I had some small and good size wins …three free pet food coupons….a bic pen and some from Uniball…. a rolling cooler from Tea’s Tea very nice but the big win for me was from the Common Law contest for two Playstation Vita hand held games. I enter about 50 contests a day give or take, some in the morning and some in the evening, still hoping for a big win or a trip somewhere fun. This past month I won some.50-$1.00 off coupon(considered a win?),a candle fro HSN. Whilel have been doing this for years, this past year I really upped my entries, I am constantly entering faithfully, sometimes I get so discouraged but I plug along. I wish us all some really big wins this month, plus Happy Halloween.!

After a long hiatus, I started sweeping, again, in about August. Like the first Sweeper to comment, I got the notice for winning a swag bag from the Ooogieloves Big Balloon Sweepstakes ($300.00ish?) It hasn’t arrived yet.

Happy to hear about everyone’s wins…I, too really appreciate this newsletter, and learning about other winners keeps me motivated. My mom loved entering contests, and each day I enter, I think of her. It’s been almost thirty years since she passed away, but every time I win something, big or small, I feel like she is smiling down at me and sharing in the win.

I had a great September! I won two tickets to a Red’s game from Alcatel One Touch. It included pavilian seats, buffet, and drinks! It was a great time! I also won Colgate toothpaste from Self Magazine, and four beauty prizes from P & G Make Waves promotion. Lately I’ve been entering less sweepstakes because I was starting to get burnt out. But the ones I’ve entered have still paid off!
No I didn’t win anything in September except $100 in a football pool locally! Am also starting to get burned out on sweeps … been playing since March and haven’t really won much. It seems like hardly anyone won anything … maybe they are holding it all for us for Christmas which would be GREAT!

Back in the late ’80′s I won so many big prizes, but all were from paper ballots. I don’t seem to be able to win anything on the computer. Why do you think that is?

Despite the thousands of sweeps I’ve entered, I’ve not won anything more than a coupon for an energy drink and a small, thin terrycloth towel sporting an automotive product logo. I’m thinking that it’s because I’m in my 60s and not part of the large target market for most manufactured goods. Ageism, although subtle, existed on the campus where I worked on my M.A. last year, so perhaps it is the same with sweeps. Any comments from those more knowledgeable than I on the subject?

Yes I won a trip to Vegas in the iHeart Radio Music sweepstakes to attend the IHeart Radio Music Festival! And the next day I won a nights stay at a Holiday Inn! The trip to Vegas was my best win so far and while I was there I was able to visit my son…great win for me!
Not really a “sweeps” but a FANTASTIC win never the less… After 3 years of trying, I FINALLY got 2 tickets to the ellen show this month. I will be there on the 16th and it should air on the 17th. For anyone whose ever tried to get ellen tickets, it’s about the same as one of the MOST popular sweepstakes going. These tickets are almost IMPOSSIBLE to get … my goal now… ellen’s “12 Days of Giveaways”……. I hope to be selected to dance on the stage… This is my total escape from reality… Cannot wait!

I’ve been entering for about 6 months and haven’t won much at all. I upped my entries that last few months, so I’m hoping some wins will start rolling in. In September I won $5 live nation cash on the recycling pizza hut sweeps, and $25 Amazon gift card from MTV fantasy Election which is still going on. Seems like everyone in my league that was playing some won a gift card. This was my biggest prize this year!
