To enter, submit an essay of 30 - 150 words describing or less explaining why your child's baseball or softball league needs $10,000 to "brighten up their game", including why the League needs the money and how the League would spend it. You must also submit a recent color photograph depicting the subject matter of the essay and the issue or problem that the League would address using the prize money.
All entries will be put up for public vote. The five entries with the most votes will be finalists. Judges will pick the winner from among the finalists on the basis of most compelling human interest story (50%), best visual (25%), and originality (25%).
