Sweepstakes Prizes:
Finalist Prizes (10): A trip for 2 to Chicago, Illinois to compete in a cook-off. The prize includes airfare, hotel, and $400 in spending cash. (ARV: $2,637)
Beef Burger Grand Prize: $100,000 cash. (ARV: $100,000)
Alternative Burger Grand Prize: $15,000 cash. (ARV: $15,000)
1st Prizes (2 - 1 per category): $500 cash. (ARV: $500)
2nd Prizes (2 - 1 per category): $250 cash. (ARV: $250)
People's Choice Prize (2 - 1 per category): $2,500 cash. (ARV: $2,500)
Additional Comments:
To enter, submit your best burger recipe in one of the following categories: Beef Burgers and Alternative Burgers. Beef burgers must have at least 75% beef. Alternate burgers may be made of any ground food, as long as they are made up of less than 75% beef. Burgers must consist of meat patties served on buns or other bread products and may include any combination of sauces, toppings, cheeses, and spreads. Recipes must be prepared on a standard outdoor grill. See rules for additional guidelines.
10 finalists, 5 from each category, will be chosen on the basis of Creativity, Taste, and Visual appeal. The finalists will compete in the National Cook-Off Finals in Chicago, Illinois. They will prepare their recipes, which will be judged again on the same criteria.
The People's Choice Prizes will be awarded by people attending the cook-off.
