Sweepstakes Prizes:

Grand Prize: A $5,000 grant to realize the winner's Bright Idea. (ARV: $5,000)

Finalist Prizes (5): A $3,000 grant to realize the winner's Bright Idea. (ARV: $3,000)

Additional Comments:

To enter, submit an essay of 1,000 words or less describing your Bright Idea and how it relates to entrepreneurism, innovation, and empowerment, and how the grant would help you realize your idea. You may also submit a photo showcasing your Bright Idea, though the photo is optional.

5 finalists will be selected on the basis of Relevance of idea to the Mirassou spirit of entrepreneurism, innovation and empowerment (0-25 points); Originality and perceived authenticity of the idea (0-25 points); Feasibility of Grant helping the Applicant realize his/her idea (0-25 points); and Overall Impression of the Application and appropriateness to the brand (0-25 points).

The finalists' entries will be put up for public vote to determine the grand-prize winner.

You are not eligible to enter if you have been convicted of a felony crime, or convicted of a moving violation involving personal injury, drugs or alcohol since March 15, 2001, or have anything else in your background that would embarrass the sponsor.
