Entries will be judged on the basis of likely taste, creativity, ease of preparation and appropriate use of the products to select 15 - 20 semi-finalists. The semi-finalist recipes will then be prepared and judged on the basis of taste (up to 30 points), creativity (up to 30 points), appropriate use of product (up to 15 points), ease of preparation (up to 15 points), and visual appeal (up to 10 points) to select 10 finalists.
Each finalist will participate in the National Cornbread Cook-Off in South Pittsburg, TN on April 28, 2012 to determine the winners. Airfare and lodging will not be covered, but each finalist will receive a $500 stipend to defray travel costs.
