Grand Prize: $10,000 towards winner's fresh start goal, 30-minute consultation with change expert Ariane de Bonvoisin, and a trip to New York City to attend a celebratory event to share the "Fresh Start Story" of the progress they've made and how far they still have to go. (ARV: $12,650)
2nd Prize: $5,000 towards winner's goal, 30-minute consultation, and a trip to New York. (ARV: $7,650)
3rd Prize: $3,000 towards winner's goal, 30-minute consultation, and a trip to New York. (ARV: $5,650)
4th Prizes (7): $1,000 check to be used towards achieving winner's fresh start goal. (ARV: $1,000)

Additional Comments:

To enter, submit an essay of 300 words or fewer about your plans for making a "fresh start" in life and a recent individual photo of yourself that illustrates the "fresh start" you want to make. The fresh start must be a long-term goal that will take at least 30 days to complete. Explain why you want to make a fresh start, what your goal is, the steps you'll need to take to achieve it, and how the prize will help you achieve it.

10 finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges on the basis of Feasibility of the Plan (40%), Use of Funding (40%), and Persuasiveness (20%). Winners will be chosen by public vote.
