If you are a cartoonist working alone or with one other cartoonist to create comics, you can win a nice cash prize and the chance to be published in the prestigious Miami Herald newspaper in the
Great Cartoonist Search Contest.

Eligibility:
individual cartoonists or teams of two cartoonists who are U.S. residents aged 18+.
End Date:
July 24, 2007. Entries must be received by July 31, 2007.
Entry Frequency:
One entry of three comics.
Sweepstakes Prizes:
$800 and the chance to be published in the Sunday edition of The Miami Herald and on miamiherald.com, for a minimum of four weeks.
Additional Comments:
The first round of judging will have every entry judged on the basis of Drawing (30 points), Creativity (15 points), Humor (35 points), and Relevancy to South Florida and/or Miami Herald readers (20 points). The second round of judging will include a telephone interview. The third round will include voting by Miami Herald readers.
