Sweepstakes Prizes:

Grand Prize: $10,000 worth of groceries at a major retail grocery store. (ARV: $10,000)

Runner-Up Prizes (3 - 1 per finalist who doesn't win the grand prize): A Circulon Contempo 10-piece stainless steel cookware set. (ARV: $310)

Finalist Prizes (4 - 1 per local market): A trip for two to New York City for the national cook-off, including airfare, hotel, and $300 spending cash. (ARV: $2,000)

Semi-Finalist Prizes (12 - the 3 highest-scoring entrants in each local market): Transportation to the local market cook-off including airfare and hotel. (ARV: $2,050)

Additional Comments:

To enter, submit your original recipe for a healthy breakfast dish, appetizer, dessert or snack with ingredients that cst $25 or less. See the rules for details about what the sponsor considers a healthy dish.

You must submit your entry into one of four local markets, each with its own entry period:

  • Atlanta, Georgia: September 2 - September 9
  • Dallas, Texas: September 1 - September 14
  • Los Angeles, California: August 22 - September 4
  • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: September 23 - October 6

48 semi-finalists in each local market will be chosen based on a combination of public vote and a nutrition score. The nutrition score will be determined based on the recipe's calories per serving, amount and types of fat, carbohydrate content, protein content, and amount of salt/sodium.

The semi-finalists will prepare their dishes for judges in the local market they entered into. Semi-finalists will be responsible for their own transportation, except for the three highest-scoring recipes in each local market. The prepared dishes will be judged on the basis of Taste (up to 30 points), Presentation (up to 20 points), Voting score earned in Round 1 (up to 25 points), and Nutrition score earned in Round 1 (up to 25 points).

One finalist from each local market will be chosen to compete in a national cook-off in New York City to determine the grand-prize winner.
