The upper level is the central living area. It has a wooden deck with stunning views of Mount Mansfield, an entrance through a mud room, a master bedroom and bath with a private balcony, a combined kitchen and living area, and much more. The HGTV Dream Home 2011 is designed as an elegant ski lodge, with room for plenty of guests. Guests have their own living area including a den, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette. The upper floor of the home takes full advantages of the beautiful mountain surroundings, with a glassed-in annex looking over the mountains.

The 2011 Dream Home was furnished with comfort and durability in mind. The decor is informal, so that the winner will be able to truly relax in his or her home.
