Do you often forget to check your favorite sweepstakes websites every day? Would you like an easy way to keep up with sweepstakes news, winners lists, and new contests? If so, using Gmail could help.

Gmail, the free web-based email service provided by Google, is a great choice to use for sweepstakes email because it has an enormous storage size that prevents any winning emails from getting returned because the mailbox is full. It also has a few other features that make it particularly nice for sweepstakes email.

One of these features is the ability to have news headlines show up on your mail account. You can even choose the news sites that you prefer. Your choices include not only general news, but also contest sites including About Contests & Sweepstakes. Since you should be checking your sweepstakes email daily anyway, you have an easy way to keep track of your sweepstakes news. Here's how to do it:

Step One:

Open Gmail and log into your account with your username and password. If you are not currently a Gmail user, you will need to register first. In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, you’ll see a link that says "Settings." Click on it.
