To enter, write a brief statement describing your "secret cleaning tip or confession." You can enter daily, but each entry must be substantially different from your others. If you submit the same or very similar tips more than once, all your entries might be disqualified.
Monthly winners will be drawn at random. The contest winner will be chosen on the following basis:
20 finalists will be chosen on the basis of effectiveness of cleaning tip or confession (50%), originality of cleaning tip or confession (40%), incorporation of traditional cleaning tool (mop, broom, kitchen brush, toilet brush, all purpose brush, scrubber or scourer) into cleaning tip or confession (10%).
Judges will then re-score the finalists on the same basis to determine the grand-prize winner.
