I like that they are throwing in the 500 thousand bucks, will help with taxes. Also like that one can take the cash option instead of the home.
Enjoy the colors in the decor but do think they overdid it on the birch look throughout the home. Love love love the kitchen, but where is the pantry???
I can understand many folks not liking the dorm room, does seem a bit much. I think it looks great though. Actually it is the dorm bathroom I do not like. I have a small army so I can see using the dorm. The guest room is perfect. Dining room is lovely but not overstated.
I hear they treat you like a queen/king when they fly you up to tour the home after winning.
2011 Dream Home vs. Past Years' Prizes
The location is the best in my opinion. Also think the exterior is the best of all the other Dream Homes. I do love the floorplan, except the dorm room.
What Do You Think of the Setting?
Awesome!!! Mount Mansfield is stunning. Not just for skiing either. Lots more stuff to do than ski, only boring people get bored. There is more to do outdoors than getting skin cancer by laying on the beach all day and getting sand in your bathing suit, as some other Dream Home locations offered.
What Do You Think of the Design?
Really like the design and find it just right for the setting.
What Do You Think of the Extra Prizes?
Extra is always nice. Love that they are including use of the nearby spa, so cool.
