Tell Us the Story of Your Prize Win
Well I just got into entering a few contests. I don't honestly remember where I found this one since I don't really browse Pottery Barn much hehe. I am guessing it was flagged on one of my Sony tech or game related searches.
Anyhow this contest and many others slowly began to be my daily routine. I discovered this cool community of sweepstakes chasers in the process of being a little OCD about my time management. I figured if I am going to enter a contest every day, I may as well take the time to enter multiple contests every day instead. It paid off.
I have to say this is clearly an awesome contest for anyone, but I am a real tech loving g33k, Playstation 3 fan (so proud Sony owner) and sadly living in a house where my wife and I suffer very old hand me down furniture and have for years. This will really lift our spirits and elevate our home. I hope to take several before and after photos of everything when all is said and done.
I was notified of the "potential" grand prize win via email from Eprize who is the vendor handling the contest. They then required notarized documentation including 1099 form to be sent their way so they can verify eligibility. They give you 10 days to get it to them so we in our excitement overnight delivered (morning delivery) via Fed Ex hehe.
They then said it would take about 2 weeks to notify us and about a little over a week and a few nagging emails to them from me and they verified our win. Now mind you we haven't received anything yet so I suppose the skeptical part of my brain is saying it's not real until we have everything in our tight grasp, but it seems to be the real deal and now we are just waiting. The fine print says 8-10 weeks from contest end until the prize is awarded, but since they've been pretty quick about moving this along I am hoping that it won't take quite so long.
I of course will need to schedule delivery of the tv and equipment and probably have to sign for the gift card etc. So per their last email to me I can expect a further correspondence from them with further details.
Thanks to everyone who helps finding these contests a bit easier. Good luck to everyone else in their hunt!

Lessons Learned
- Just try to enter at the same time every day. Some contests go by a 24 hour clock so you have to literally wait 24 hours to enter again. Some people may not find that a hassle, but I'm usually pooped after a long day of work and like to hop on the computer an enter stuff at different times.
