I have sold on eBay for 12 years and I understand the up's and down's of selling online. Since I usually set a Fixed Price with immediate payment required, there is no surprises on the price I got for an item.
Tips and Tricks
- Research the going price of the item you are trying to sell (in the condition you are trying to sell it at) in completed auctions, before you set your price. It will also help you set your expectations of the value of the item.
- Understand the shipping options completely before you list an item. That is one area that can make or break a successful sale!
- If it doesn't sell, wait a week or so and relist it.
