How was Your Experience Selling on eBay?
I have previous experience selling on eBay, so there was no problem. I priced the XBox slightly below retail with a "Buy It Now" price, and sold within a few days. Easy and profitable. Electronics are one of the easiest types of products to sell through eBay as long as you keep your prices (including shipping) below retail. I plan to sell again on eBay if I'm fortunate enough to win again.
Tips and Tricks
- Always be honest about your product - for example, don't try to sell a used product as new. If there's a slight flaw in your item, disclose it in the listing. Potential buyers steer clear of Sellers with low ratings, so work to keep a high approval percentage.
- The eBay shipping calculator is not always accurate, particularly with UPS prices.
- The easiest and safest method to receive payment is through Paypal. Never accept personal checks. You will eventually get burned.
