FREE FOOD IS HELPFUL
- I have been playing since McDonalds started Monopoly many years ago. All have ever won is food, coke rewards points, snapfish, and the newest boring prize of redbox.I'd rather win food or a couple of dollar bills! No Money, no exciting prizes. I am a single mom who has been unemployed and has a house in forclosure....so, although the free food is very helpful, I am praying I win some money, a car, a vacation, or something nicer than mycoke rewards (5 so far), redbox (1 so far), and unwanted snapfish.

I won, but barely.
- I have 50+ game pieces, and all I've won so far is Medium Fries and a McFlurry. I guess 1 in 4 isn't the case for me... I've played regularly every year for as long as I can remember, and I've only ever won food. Maybe that means I'll win the million someday ;)

- I won an entertainment center over 10 years ago... big screen tv (the bulky kind) with speakers and i think a stereo system. We had lunch with relatives... group of 10 or so... Nobody really cared to play the game so I collected everybody's game pieces and got the yellows or reds all in one trip. Total luck! I've played casually over the years and haven't gotten as lucky... have only gotten food prizes and $100.

Enough Best Buy Bucks for a TV
- Back when McDs was giving out $2 - $5 Best Buy Bucks in addition to the game pieces, I mailed about 100 Self-adressed stamped envelopes to the "alternate entry" address and got back 200 game pieces (ie lots of free food/small prizes), plus enough best buy bucks for a new TV. I spent about $80 on postage and the TV was worth about $380. No weight gained from the experience and it was pretty funny presenting 100 best buy coupons to the cashier. :) Those lucky ducks in Illinois wouldn't have had to pay return postage for their mail in entries so they could have done it for half the price! (Fun fact: McDs now requires these residents to submit a separate "proof of residency" mailing with each entry so that they need to pay as much for postage as everyone else)
