Last Day to Enter the HGTV 2008 Dream Home Giveaway Sweepstakes!

As you hopefully know by now, today is the last day to enter the HGTV 2008 Dream Home Giveaway. After today, the next chance to win will begin next January, which is a long time to wait, so be sure to get at least one entry in while you still can.

What Happens Next with the HGTV Dream Home?

After today, entries will close and the doors will go dark on the Dream Home for a little while. HGTV will work behind the scenes to draw the winner's name and set up the surprise win announcement. The drawing will be conducted by an independent judging company on February 28, 2008. Now, with most sweepstakes, the winner will receive notification by a congratulatory email, or perhaps a winning phone call. But the HGTV Dream Home Sweepstakes goes a step farther and sets up a big surprise announcement for its winner. In the past, HGTV has contacted friends, relatives, and coworkers to help set up the surprise announcement.

Those of us who don't win can still participate in the fun by watching the win announcement live on the air. It will be shown on HGTV on March 16th at 9 pm Eastern time, 6 pm Central time.
