Why do you lead people on? Your email said that someone with the initials E.C who lived on my street will be coming. I was so excited. Apparently not, this past Sunday no one showed up. I have been with publisher’s clearing house for many years and have bought some of your products, even though you say that we don’t have to purchase anything for a chance to win. Oh well, I guess I will keep on trying! Maybe one of these days I will win. Thank you!

Wow!!! I really can’t believe what most of you people are saying in your comments. I am not hearing as I read any congratulations for this woman who has won the prize on june 30th. All I hear is a bunch of whiners. Hmm… Do y’all really think that you should have won because you feel you needed it more? ASHAMED is what you should be feeling. You do not know if this winner didn’t need the money more than you. Yes, we all have needs and many of us are struggling more than others ( as we sometimes feel). I think myself am glad none of you had won. Sorry to have to say but come on people, it is time to step up and do something for yourself. Maybe first thing is to look at yourself in the mirror and put a smile on your face. There is not one of us in this world that God will put upon us that we cannot handle without a way out. Second: have faith in the word of God and Live your lives. Do not think you can survive by yourself, the way is already made for us by His Grace ( Gods Riches At Christs Expense). Any way be happy that someone has just been handed a great gift. Maybe even say a prayer for them to be able to manage and handle the Talents that has been put in their charge. Check it out people I have just lost everything in my life my wife to a wreck right in front of my eyes as she died in my arms. I Put everything in storage that has just been auctioned off becuase I couldn’t pay the bill t6o keep all my sentiments of our life. All the while I have now lost my home Aug. (th I will Go out the door of my residence due to foreclosure.

(11) Michele says:

I truly believe PCH is a big fake. Everything said, initials, definitely a winner in Little Ferry, NJ well that didn’t look like a winner from Little Ferry.. I have been playing for many years and nothing ever comes through. If it were an honest company PCH should not lead on people with such false facts, because some people can’t take disappointing news not to mention that it looks bad for the company. How many people have they lured in and gave false information too. All we can do is wish for a miracle. I have a better chance of getting hit by lightning or stepping in poop then winning this. Of course I will still play because u need to be in it to win it and it is fun.

July 3, 2013 at 11:40 am
(12) John says:

If you read what the PCH announcements REALLY say, it’s “a person with the initials JN in Redwood City will definitely be a winner, IF they return the correct certificate number and IF that number is drawn” in their latest contest for ANY prize. If you read the fine print, the ODDS OF WINNING ARE ASTRONOMICAL. They make it that way to market their services with tantalizing chances to win big bucks, but which happen to ONE person out of MILLIONS of entries.

If you want to try to win, great, go ahead, your odds are not better or worse than anyone else’s. But don’t get your hopes up, and don’t think that being a slave to their marketing ploys will get you any better shot at winning. You’re better off unsubscribing and doing something more productive with your time.

(15) Dawn says:

Sam, I agree with you. It always seems to be an elderly person. As far as the initials go. If everyone would learn to read it says COULD BE not will be the winner in the town & state with those initials. Cant everyone just be happy for the person that won. What haters out there!!!!!

(16) Gary Kirouac says:

Hey I have played for years and to date never won anything. The nice thing is I have been able to dream about being a winner for years, in fact I always tell my wife “Hey tomorrow when I win the Publishers Clearing House drawing we can then think about how many people we know we could help! I don’t like the fact that I haven’t won anything after all we all want to be winners of PCH however I am a winner in life not because of the drawings, or that I’m financially set or anything like that, I too am faced with “life’s challenges too on every side. Life is having the light inside that never goes out no matter what or who you are or become. The most important thing in this life is not receiving (but you know I most definitely would love to win this) but giving! So hopefully someday SOOON I could win this…but for now I get to at least enjoy the dream of winning!

(17) Pyt says:

I’m glad that someone won! That means if at first we don’t succeed we can try again! Let’s not give up or out! By all means let’s be happy for all of the winners past and present!i believe that our day will come! I have hope and faith in The Lord Jesus Christ! he is my Lord and Savior and that makes me a winner! It is written what good is it to profit and loose your soul….

(21) KeeKee says:

I enjoy entering PCH Sweepstakes but I have not won anything I’ve come close somewhat but not close. I guess most winners are well off, and they may sometimes make it look good for ppl that are well off a chance to win so there won’t be any major complaints. But that’s okay that’s their parogative to do so as they feel, not for some of us that would like to someday be in the winner circle to. God Bless

(22) BERNT VON GRABE says:

Let’s see now. Elizabeth Calderon was told somebody with the initials EC will win. Debra T was told somebody with the initials DT will definitively win. I was told somebody with the initials BV will definitively win ! Never mind all the other ones who were told the same, listing THEIR initials.
Indeed I was told (screen shot in my possession) that I had WON but after 2 hours of responding to surveys never heard again from PCH ! In a later notice IPCH referred to the win $$$ per week for the rest of your life. Except on page 2 in small print it says up to 75 years. I am 82 and PCH’s practice is intentionally discriminating as they KNOW my age.
PCh’s practices are deceptive and in violation of a settlement agreement with a dozen r more states that cost PCH somewhere around $35 million. I think it is time the states look into this again !

I also recieved information that some one with my zip code was going to win on 6/30/13- statement was a lie
Congrats to the winner anyway May God Bless You !!!

(30) David Johnson says:

Congrats to Sherry. Good for you.

The rest of you people above who and whining and crying that you never win anything are pathetic.

To put your hopes and dreams of becoming rich on a sweepstakes is just too lame for words but I’ll give it a try……

1. No one owes you a thing.
2. Read the material carefully. A lot of you are complaining that someone with your initials didn’t win. They didn’t say the grand prise. Maybe a hundred buck. So what.
3. Be intelligent. You’ll never get rich playing this game. It’s a pass time and they use it to sell a bunch of cheap crap made in china.
4. Don’t have unrealistic expectations.
5. Get a life.

(31) Michele says:

It’s crazy all the paper work that comes in not to mention the cost of money it must cost to send out these so called prizes. Unfortunately I have been participating for many years and praying to the lord for some kind of miracle, I am happy that someone received it, but it seems like its people down south that usually win. PCH should look at the people(like me) that have had devastation from Sandy like Little Ferry residents that have lost everything and have absolutely no more funds to support a family of 4 ort any # of family. The government helps people in the south but not Bergen County or NY, So sad but it’s true! Bernt Von’s story is so sad, it’s like offering a child candy and pulling it saying sorry your too young to eat this. I am not a selfish person I have a list of people I would help not to mention I would donate to LF school to help re-build if I were to win. All I can do is wish for a miracle and Thank the Lord that I have a beautiful family and cherish our love for one another because we have no funds to spend on each other. We have borrowed from many people just to survive and borrowing vehicles too. So sad to see how we have come so far to this within a couple of years. I pray for all the people who r struggling like us for a miracle.

If it is to be it will be..its a shame people hunger for money. believe me there are people out there Less Fortuneate than those of you needing a new roof some people have no roof to fix…children are in St.Judes dying daily.. military vets are living in the streets…shame on all of you who let greed take first place in your life…I am sincerely happy for any one who wins..I do hope they remember those in desperate need however.

I received notice that someone with my initials will be winning in my state, I just pray that I win something. I could do so much good with some money, and help other people that really need the help, like our veterans, family, the aspca so many charities out there that need help. and of course for a good doctor for my illness, buy a small home, buy a decent vehicle so I can go to and from medical services. I’m not greedy I’ll take anything they give me. for necessities for my family and myself.
