...Connie Kiesser from Mountain Home, Idaho. You can watch the winning video on YouTube.
The prize came at an excellent time for Connie Kiesser, because she had to stop working as a truck driver after a massive heart attack a few years ago, and her husband and son are also out of work, according to news station KTVB.com. She is still paying off her medical bills, and this big cash prize will help.
Her husband also had a reaction that I hear many people express in the comments to the PCH winner announcements: 'People from Idaho never win PCH sweepstakes.' If you check out the PCH Winners Circle page, you'll see that people from all over the country do win big prizes.
There are also some other questions that I see every time I share any news about PCH. Before you comment, please remember:
- I don't work for Publishers Clearing House. If you want to talk with them, see How to Contact PCH.
- You might have received a notice that someone from your state or with your initials would win. If you don't live in Idaho and if your initials aren't CK, you might be confused. But PCH did not lie. Find out why this happens: Will Someone with My Initials In My Area Really Win from PCH?
- You might still be receiving offers to enter, which might seem strange since a winner was just announced. See Why Don't PCH Sweepstakes Ever Seem to End? for more information.
