To enter, submit a recipe that uses Scharffen Berger bars, chunks, or cocoa to elevate a classic recipe, along with an essay describing why your recipe elevates or modernizes a classic.

15 finalists will be selected on the basis of creativity (25%), use of chocolate or cocoa to elevate or modernize a classic (25%), perceived taste of finished recipe (25%), and ease of preparation (25%).

The finalists' recipes will be prepared and re-judged on the basis of creativity (25%), use of chocolate to elevate or modernize a classic (25%), taste of finished recipe (25%), ease of preparation (15%) and the quality of the essay accompanying the recipe (10%).
