For ideas on how to use the adventure ingredients, you can see a previous Chocolate Adventure winner on my list of recipe contest winners, or view the contest website for inspiration.
Entries will be judged in two rounds. The first round will pick 15 finalists on the basis of creativity and whether the recipe represents a spirit of adventure (25%), use of Scharffen Berger chocolate or cocoa (25%), perceived taste of finished recipe (25%), and perceived ease of preparation (25%).
The finalists' recipes will be prepared and judged on the basis of whether the recipe represents a spirit of adventure (35%), taste of finished recipe (35%), ease of preparation (20%), and appearance (10%) to determine the winner.
