Grand Prize (Water Ecology): Research voyage on San Francisco's Marine Science Institute vessel.

Additional Comments:
To enter, submit an experiment or problem for a participating scientist to solve in one of four categories: flavor science, water quality, SETI, and skateboarding engineering. Entries will be judged on originality, experiment's relation to stated criteria, overall presentation. Limit of 1 entry per student or group per category. The first 1,000 students to enter will receive a free activity kit.Grand prize trips include airfare for two (winner and a parent or guardian), hotel, some meals, and sightseeing, for a total value of about $3,000.
