The green wall color has an interesting effect of changing depending on the light in the room. And with large windows, a chandelier, and various table lamps, there is a lot of lighting in the room.
To balance the greens, the designers chose crisp white furnishings, accents, and bed linens. The bed features a romantic floor-to-ceiling canopy which I absolutely love. There is also a beautiful white video cabinet, which includes a discreet place to keep the television.
My favorite part of the 2009 HGTV Master Bedroom, however, is the cozy reading nook. A couch that looks like you could sink right into the cushions nestles between three large windows, which provide plenty of natural light during the day. It looks like the perfect place for two of my favorite pastimes, reading and cross stitching!
Now if you think that there isn't much room for storage in this bedroom... that's because you haven't seen the massive walk-in closet yet!
